Tamkeen is a semi-governmental organization in Bahrain, Tamkeen is tasked with making the private sector the critical driver of economic development. Tamkeen‘ s mandate revolves mainly around developing Bahrainis to allow for their effective competition in the Labour market. Tamkeen has over 200 programs, and initiatives focused on areas such as funding and financing, skill and career progression, customized employment schemes, and entrepreneurship exposure, amongst many others.
All Tamkeen’s schemes require tons of paperwork and reviews, Tamkeen engaged us to develop an Android Application for Site Visit department. The app goal is to enable the monitor and compliance department to start and end the site visit at the beneficiaries location, upload photos, reports and electronic signatures of the customers, tracking the status of each item and receive alerts and notification and upload the application to Tamkeen CRM.
We have created the application on Android latest platform with Google’s Material Design layout, even the app was going to be used only on one hardware device, but we made sure it is compatible with other screen sizes and hardware. Tamkeen employees thrilled by using the app because we made Two views for the site visit applications either by categories or by calendar view, each type has its unique color for the user to identify instantly.
The user able to check application details, call customers, find company locations, fill a questionnaire, take photos and comments and upload everything to Tamkeen CRM along with customer signature. To achieve all of that we integrated the app with Microsoft Dynamic API’s to pull and upload site visits, making easier to manage and save time to the coordinators and compliance department.
