We hope you have all had a joyous Ramadan this year. With Eid just a few days away, we would like to wish you all a fun weekend with friends and family!

As with all festivities, everyone has their own traditions for celebrating Eid. To get us all in the Eid mood, here is a little from the VII Tech team on what they enjoyed about Ramadan this year… and what they are looking forward to for Eid!

Ahmed Y: New Month, New Me! Looking forward to all the festive food 🍔  and extended sleep… so maybe not so new then 😀

Abdulla: What I am looking forward to most is the Eid breakfast, specifically the traditional eggs and tomatoes 🍳 … Just kidding, but this will be my first Eid with my fiancée, so that’s a new experience in life, 🎉  I’m definitely planning on going out and enjoying the Eid spirit! 🙌

Vanessa: This Ramadan and Eid is bittersweet for me. While I’m excited (and really nervous) to start living on my own back in the States 🇺🇸, I’ll miss the people I’ve met here. It’s through VII Tech that I’ll be leaving with a great impression of Bahrain and I’ve enjoyed how much my coworkers and friends made sure I’ve experienced all that I can from the culture. -and that I’ve tried every plate of traditional food. 😁

Jawad: I’m looking forward to my morning coffee ☕️  and Eid feast especially the sweets variety; I like this day everyone is full of energy and happiness. It’s also a good time to catch up with the rest of the family.

Kouther: I really enjoyed all the traditional dishes 🥘 🍩  that were enjoyed with friends and family this year. I’m looking forward to enjoying the long weekend with the family for all the fun Eid celebrations!

Mahdi: In this Ramadan, I had the quietest, loudest, laziest, and craziest 🤡  moments during the work time, but I actually enjoyed them, thanks to my teammates.

Yusuf: While Ramadan in previous years was spent away from home, I’m grateful to spend Ramadan this year with the family and of course have the taste of home food. This blessed month flew by with just a flicker of an eye. Ramadan allows us to reflect on things as well as reduce some habits the likes of drinking coffee ☕️ — which was a challenge in the first couple of days! But as days passed, it was much easier to give up on the daily intake. I’m looking forward to the mornings of Eid, the family gatherings 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, the sweet dishes as well as the liveliness of the public places.

Yanyan: I really enjoyed the extra free hours I got for gym 🏃 during Ramadan and fewer people in the malls during the day… Eid is not as special to me as for my Bahraini colleagues, so I just happy to have the days off…lol! Happy Eid!

Ahmed S: This Eid, I am looking forward to gathering with my family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and spend some quality time with them as it’s a special occasion.

Eman: This Ramadan was all about sleeping for me. I come to work, go back to sleep 😴, wake up and come to😐  For Eid  I’m waiting for the “Balaleet” on the Eid breakfast, and for the family gathering and of course my Eid outfit 👠 💄

Mustafa: I’m really looking forward to spending time with my family on Eid 😎.

Layla: I’m looking forward to the family gatherings the most. Eid can be a very busy time, so I prefer to spend quality time 🍰 ☕️ 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 with my loved ones at home!

Well, however you choose to celebrate the Eid holidays, we hope that you all have fun and enjoy!

Happy Eid! 💃🕺
