I had a long conversation with our client a few weeks ago about the definition of a brand and branding,  As most of the business people lack the knowledge of both terminologies.

So What is a Brand?
A brand is the idea or image of a specific product or service that consumers connect with, by identifying the name, logo, slogan, or design of the company who owns the idea or image. Brand is a product, a service, an experience and a promise between the company and consumer.

What makes a successful brand? 5 key components:
Positioning – define what the brand stands for.

Storytelling – capture the customer with emotional connection.

Design – craft the entire experience from logo to business cards.

Price – set expectations with customers.

Relationship – make the customer feel special and part of something greater.




What does branding do?

Branding reinforces reputation, encourages loyalty and assures quality.

What doesn’t branding do?

Cannot rescue lousy services or bad products.

Why create a brand?

Because brand identifies the truth, tells the story,  has appeal,  increases revenue and creates relation bond.

Brands are everywhere, in the city and your home. It remains in people’s thoughts. Brands is what we create in our minds.
